Pune: An attack has taken place on Chandrakant Tingre, husband of former corporator Rekha Tingre, in the Vadgaonsheri area of Pune. It is suspected that this incident is related to his political journey. Chandrakant Tingre had joined the Nationalist Congress Party led by Sharad Pawar just six days ago.
Rekha Tingre had joined the BJP in 2022, but a few months ago she joined the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP. After that, Chandrakant Tingre supported the Sharad Pawar faction, which sparked discussion in political circles.
The police are currently investigating the attack, and it is not yet clear for what reason and who carried it out. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
