BMW has launched the new BMW S 1000 R in India in three variants:
- Standard variant – ₹19,00,000
- S 1000 R Pro variant – ₹20,45,000
- S 1000 R Pro M Sport variant – ₹23,30,000
(All prices are ex-showroom.)
The bike comes with a 999cc BS6 engine, produces 162.26 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque, is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and returns an estimated mileage of 16.12 km/l. It weighs 199 kg and has a fuel tank of 16.5 liters.
The design features a new LED headlight, sharp panels and a sporty look.
Advanced features include a 6.5-inch TFT display, full-LED lighting, three riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic), anti-hopping clutch, traction control, ABS Pro and hill start control. The Pro and Pro M Sport variants also offer additional features, such as cruise control, keyless ride and adaptive lights.
