Ankita Sanjay Patil, a 19-year-old girl from Sangli, was found dead in her rental flat in Talegaon Dabhade. Ankita was a college student living in the flat for her studies. She was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan with a dupatta.
She lived with two friends, but they had gone back to their hometown for a festival. Currently, it appears that Ankita took a tragic step towards suicide; however, it has not yet been confirmed whether it was a suicide or a murder. The Talegaon Dabhade police are investigating the case.
