A complaint has been filed against Rajendra Barguje, a businessman from Shirur (Pune), alleging that he was cheated of Rs 15 lakh. A case has been registered against Deepak and Sarika Baravkar, a husband and wife, at Shirur police station.
Barguje had taken a loan to buy a truck and deposited the money in the Baravkar couple’s account, but they used the money for their own use instead of giving it to the truck seller. When Barguje asked for the money back, he was given vague answers, abusive language and threats. Finally, after realizing that he had been cheated, he filed a complaint with the police and further investigation into the case is underway.
