In Pune, there was an accident with a group of warkaris (pilgrims) traveling in a tempo.
This happened on the Katraj Kondhwa Road.
Five warkaris got hurt in this accident.
20 other people also got injured.Most of the injured were women.
The injured warkaris are getting treatment in a private hospital.
Luckily, no one died in the accident.
The tempo was going to Pandharpur for the darshan (visit) of Vithuraya (a form of Lord Vishnu).
The police from Bharti Vidyapeeth have registered a case against the tempo driver.
They are now looking into what happened.
Before the accident, the palanquin of Mauli and Sant Tukaram Maharaj had come into Pune.
People were happy and singing, with saffron flags and musical instruments.
Many pilgrims were going to Pandharpur for the pilgrimage.
Both palanquins were welcomed with joy in Pune.
The tempo with the warkaris was going from Parbhani to Pandharpur.
It overturned on Sunday night in the Shivshambhonagar area.
This happened because the driver lost control of the tempo.
All five warkaris who were hurt have been treated and are now okay.
