Virar Crime Attack: Man Stabs Wife Near Virar Station Days After Vasai Tragedy

A man attacked his wife in Virar, which was a disturbing occurrence.

Only a few days had passed since a lover in Vasai killed his sweetheart.

The woman involved in this incident fortunately survived.

The attack took place close to the Virar Railway Station.

Shiv and Veerashila Sharma are the pair in question.

According to the police, this attack was due to a family dispute.

Veerashila was on her way to work when Shiv Sharma assaulted her.

The incident happened on the footbridge near platform one at Virar railway station.

On Wednesday morning, at around 7:30 AM, Veerashila left for work.

Shiv Sharma found her alone on the railway bridge.

He then attacked her with a knife.

After stabbing her, he also tried to strangle her with an odhani (scarf).

Veerashila managed to grab the knife with her hand.

This action saved her life, but both her hands were seriously injured.

She was stabbed in the neck as well.

Sanjavani Hospital in Virar is currently treating Veerashila.

Following the event, Shiv Sharma was taken into custody by the police.

After a fight, the couple went to the Virar police station yesterday to settle their family disputes.

But apparently after some conversation, the police had let them go.

The Virar train station is buzzing from this violent occurrence.
