Hadapsar constitutes one of the 288 Assembly constituencies in the state of Maharashtra. Situated in the eastern region of Pune, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Shirur Lok Sabha constituency. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Amol Ramsing Kolhe, the candidate from the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar, secured victory in the Shirur Lok Sabha (MP) seat with a margin of 140,951 votes.
