Ghorpadi, December 9, 2024: A dramatic incident of robbery took place at Arihant Jewellers on Kawade Road on Sunday night. The three unidentified men came to the shop on a bike and robbed the shop owner at gunpoint.
How the incident happened?
Method of attack: The thieves seriously injured the shop owner by using pepper spray and beat him with a stick.
Robbery: The robbers took away cash and jewellery from the house.
The police investigation
Police have seized the CCTV footage and an investigation is on.
Wanawadi police and crime branch have taken control of the scene and a blockade has been set up to arrest the culprits.
BACKGROUND: This is in line with a similar incident that took place in the Syednagar area of Hadapsar earlier.

Traders have been advised to keep CCTV cameras functional, set up additional security systems, especially at night, and contact the police in case of emergencies.
