Aundh, March 17, 2025 – Parents protested against the sudden fee hike of ₹12,000 and the imposition of an additional fee of ₹7,000 at City International School in Pune. They also expressed their displeasure over the imposition of sports fees despite the school not having enough ground for games.
Principal Apoorva Patil told the parents who were protesting, “If you cannot afford the fees, then send your children to a municipal school.”
Parents were incensed by this statement. The Parent-Teacher Association accused the administration of being opaque, despite the efforts of BJYM officials to resolve the situation.
