Pune, May 5, 2025: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has launched a special night bus service, ‘Ratraratri’, which runs till late at night on six routes. The service has received a positive response from passengers and PMPML has recorded a revenue of Rs 1 crore from this service in the last financial year. Due to the increasing passenger traffic in Pune, there was a need for safe and affordable transport, especially for passengers arriving late at night. Initially launched on five routes, the service was later extended to include a sixth route, Pune Station to Nigdi.
As per the demand of passengers, there is a request to extend the service to routes like Pune Airport to Swargate, Pune Station to Airport, and Pune Station to Hinjewadi. The currently running night routes include Katraj to Shivajinagar, Pune Station to NDA Gate, Hadapsar to Swargate, Hadapsar to Pune Station, Nigdi to Pune Station and Katraj to Pune Station.
