Jacksonville speedway Accident: One person died in a fatal accident

A man died in an accident at Jacksonville Speedway on Friday.

The Morgan County Coroner’s Office told everyone about this on Saturday morning.

Ralph A. Wilhite, who was from Jacksonville, was 65 years old.

He was in the infield when a racing car lost control and hit him.

He died at the scene.

An autopsy to find out more about how he died will happen on Monday.

Another man got some fractures and went to the hospital.

But he will be fine.

Jacksonville Speedway promoter, Ken Dobson, talked about the accident on social media.

He asked everyone to support and be kind to those who are very sad because of this tragedy.

Since Jacksonville is a small community, many people might be feeling very sad.

They need our thoughts, prayers, and respect as they deal with this loss in their own ways.
